Platja Es Carbó

Platja Es Carbó is located 0.9 km from Colònia Sant Jordi, in front of the islet of Na Molina. It is the undeveloped area most visited by residents and tourists, although you must reach it on foot from Colònia Sant Jordi or from Cap de ses Salines. This huge sand of fine sand is covered with posidonia and branches dumped by the sea.

The private vehicle must be parked in Colónia de Sant Jordi. You have to walk 2.3 km to this quiet paradise beach. The other possibility is to park the car in Cap de Ses Salines and take a 6 km excursion.

The best option is to reach Es Carbó navigating, although it is necessary to take precautions to anchor the boat, since at 250 meters from the shore there is a depth of 2.5 meters. There is a background of sand and seaweed, plus the presence of islets. At 0.9 nautical miles is located the port of Sa Colònia de Sant Jordi.
