Platja D’es Dofí

Platja D’es Dofí

Es Dofí is only 6 km away from Ses Salines, located between the beaches of Es Dolç and Es Carbó. It is characterized by the presence of sands and rocks, as well as by other peculiarities of the southern coast of Mallorca. From Es Dofí you can see four islets: Na Guardis, s’Estopa, s’Albarda and s’Illot Petit.

Es Dofí is part of the Natural Area of Special Interest of Cap de Ses Salines. It has a dune system and scarce flora, delimiting with the rural property of Sa Vall. On Thursdays you can visit the impressive cactus garden of the property. From Sa Vall you can reach the palace of the March family, built in a 14th century defense tower.

The best place for anchoring the boat are in front of es Dofí and Platja d’es carbó. This area, located 300 meters from the shore, has a bottom of sand and seaweed, about 3 meters deep.

Access by road is easy until Colónia de Sant Jordi. Here you can park your car for free and start a walking tour, skirting the coast until you reach Es Dofí.
