Platja D’es Coto

Platja D’es Coto

This is a lonely beach of fine golden sand, with rocky shores covered with Posidonia seaweed and very little slope. Its seabed is rocky and almost without depth. This represents a serious inconvenience for bathing, since there is a kind of reef half a meter deep, which only allows to cool down to the calf.

On the other hand, Es Coto is a quiet place, excellent for sunbathing away from the great human agglomerations.
This reef does not prevent the anchorage of boats, since the probe marks 7’5 meters deep at 250 meters from the shore. The Port of Colònia de Sant Jordi is located 1’3 miles away.

Platja d’es Coto can be reached by road with ease. The private vehicle can be parked for free a few meters away from the beach, while the nearest bus stop is about 700 meters away.
